Risograph (Riso) Printing Notes:

Risograph printing is a distinctive process that uses layers of colored ink to produce vibrant and unique images. Because each layer of ink is added one at a time, slight misalignments and occasional roller marks are part of the charm of this method. These small imperfections are natural and contribute to the individuality of each print.

Please be aware that your print may exhibit slight misregistration (where colors don’t perfectly align) or tire marks (small horizontal lines that may appear in some prints). These are inherent aspects of the Riso printing process. I take care to minimize these effects, but they are part of what makes each print special.

I inspect every Riso print for the best possible registration and handle them with care, sending them in a stay-flat mailer within a padded envelope. While I strive to select the best prints from my stock, each Riso print will have its own unique characteristics—just like any of us!
